Have thought for years my cats just saw me as a larger cat. With useful capabilities, of course.

i’ve long theorized that the only way to get a cat to come when you called it, would be to name it {the sound of a can opener on a can of tuna fish} : which is unpronounceable for humans.
My daughter’s cat has a mean streak. Sometimes she just stares at me, licking her chops. Reading her mind, I’m hearing “If I was just a little bigger I’d feast for a week on you”.
Dogs have owners, Cats have a staff!
Ha, none of my cats think that way.
I am not sure what my cat thinks I am, but he surely prefers MY water or MY milk over any I give to him in his little bowl. Of course, he has me trained to share....
My cat used a CatGenie for years. It broke down and I replaced it with an identical CatGenie. She won’t touch it so now I have to use a standard cat box with flushable litter. Drives me nuts.
In Japan, pet ownership is so restrictive and expensive, that there are “cafes” where people can “rent” a cat with whom to cuddle and pet. I haven’t heard of similar places with dogs in Japan, but it wouldn’t surprise me. But Japanese “cat culture” goes back many centuries.
I read that because most apartments don’t allow pets, and licensing a cat or dog can cost thousands of dollars, this is the only way for most people to interact with a pet.

Once they learn to open cat food cans, we're all doomed!
I also saw a meme that said, "If there earth were really flat, cats would have knocked everything off it by now."

I wonder how much they spend to come up with THAT conclusion?!?!?! What insight they have into the minds of cats... Sheesh!

Thanks!
Wow,
or
Meow..
