In Australia, there is an outpouring of concern about Notre Dame, but also a surprising number of anti-Catholic sentiments, and calls for the Catholic church to use its wealth to rebuild. Very inappropriate, while the cathedral, a priceless work of art, is still on fire.

More violent voices have called for Australian cathedrals to be set on fire, as well, because of the abuse cases. Such hatred.
