And the suburb, Tukwila, is the car theft per capita leader of the nation.

Wonder what they were smoking when that was written. Seattle is becoming another LA/SF with street bums trashing everything, defecating on sidewalks. I don’t go there anymore. Used to be a fun place. Now it’s scary and dangerous even in the daytime.

Fact 1, NYC gets more rain than Seattle.

Fact 2, Seattle gets around 220 days of overcast per year.

Interesting thing about Fact 2 is that overcast here is not like in other parts of the country. We have a Mt that is 3 miles high, 60 miles from Seattle. (Mt Rainier). On "overcast" days you can often still see the peak. The "overcast" is actually alto cirrus cloud cover that blocks the sun but is zero threat of rain.

And don’t discount all of those bad air days around Sandpoint thanks to BLUE Wa’s idiotic forest ‘conservation’ laws and the huge wildfires they cause

I’m 70 myself, and my philosophy (hasn’t let me down yet) is

Hell ya gotta die of something. Might as well have fun along the way.

We hear folks around us expressing their 2A rights EVERY SINGLE Day. What a delightful symphony of freedom!

August is potent month.
It constitutes summer in Canada,
and clear skies in Seattle.

Now, now....actually from after July 4th till September you can see the sun in the greater Seattle area...I’m a native...married an Oregonian...will be spending our last days, likely in Oregon...but, NOT in Portland or Eugene!!!

Why Seattle gets a reputation of being rainy is beyond me, lots of cities (especially in the NE) get much more

Two things that took some getting used
to when I moved from Seattle to the Texas plains.

1. The lack of cloudy skies
2. The scarcity of the color green.

The port of Seattle wanted to talk to me about a computer job - I sat down with two older men dressed as transvestites one was about 6’6” dressed like a little school girl for the interview. I freaked out. I have worked card carrying communist on (JBLM) Joint Base Lewis-McChord. I don’t live in the Seattle area but its spreading.

I HATE THE WINDMILLS! I’ve lived here for 51 years, and the last 10 have been witness to it rapidly going downhill, in my view.

Not much. Puget Sound Energy (PSE) Is the largest player in the windmill game in Washington state. They invested heavily because they could use them to offset profits from gas and electricity. They erected them in the middle of nowhere in eastern Wa.

They can’t run them when there’s no wind (obviously) but they can’t run them when the wind is too strong either. A massive percentage of the generated power is lost to the physics of electricity traveling over vast distances.

Leftist enviro-weenies are in charge and the power companies know which side of their bread is buttered. They had tons of hydro-electric and huge natural gas. Almost all of the cheap, reliable hydro has been decommissioned in favor of the whirligigs.

Every time I see windmills I think of all the birds those things have killed and it never fails to piss me off.
