It’s a waste of time and money?
Then how about the rest — all those marginally talented boys playing their sports too?
The athletes hesitation to speak out publicly begs the question: How did society get to the point where high school girls now fear their uncomfortable opinions could prevent them from being admitted to the very institutions where uncomfortable opinions are supposed to be explored? There's some real irony in that. About 25 years ago, I had to take my first "harassment training" at work. We were taught that we couldn't express anything that made another person "uncomfortable." That meant not only the person I was talking to, but anybody within earshot. If a bystander was made "uncomfortable," I could be written up. It was the leftists who pushed this harassment training on us as part of their effort to wipe out sexual harassment of women.
Fast forward to 2019. It is now completely OK for mentally ill men who think they are female to intentionally make young women uncomfortable.
Not long ago laws were passed to prevent females from being made uncomfortable; today, laws are passed with the intent of making females uncomfortable. Please, Lord, can you transport me to a sane world?
Now that I am looking at being a parent to two little girls, this is getting to be a concern. What options to I consider? Discourage them from participating in sports or even considering college? The fundamentalist Baptist view of keeping them home until a suitable Christian husband is found is now seeming to be reasonable.
I was a decent quarter mile runner. I have a penis, just for information. I wasn’t a state track winner, just maybe the upper 15-20%, my best time is about three seconds better than the high school record for a girl. I also once held the school record in the pole vault which is about 2 ft higher than the state record for a girl. The girl’s record is a little past 12 feet, the boys is 16 feet, I went 12 feet as a 13 year old freshman. Girl/boy, who thinks he’s a girl, it’s all the same, lol.
