Never bought one of these but I really did intend to at some point in my stockpiling days. It's a handheld manual pump sealer. Seems handy.

One thing I like on the Nesco vs. the FoodSaver is when sealing bags with liquid, the Nesco has a rather deep, easy to clean well with a raised vacuum nozzle (like a snorkle on a Humvee only smaller) so liquid is not sucked into the machine...unlike the FoodSaver I had.
You can also use the FoodSaver jar sealer accessory on the Nesco.
