LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May steps down as leader of the governing Conservatives on Friday, officially triggering a contest to replace her that could see her party embrace a tougher stance on Brexit. May announced she would step down last month after failing to deliver Britains departure from the European Union on time, deepening a political crisis in a divided country struggling to move on from a 2016 referendum on Brexit.

She will remain however at 10 Downing St. until her replacement is selected.
She will remain as Prime Minister until the new Conservative leader is chosen.
Id say she was a resounding success.

She should have listened to and taken Trump’s guidance and advice.
She should have left at the end of May.
She will remain in her prime ministerial post only until a replacement is elected...and regardless of who becomes the next U.K. leader, it seems pretty certain they’ll be tackling the withdrawal agreement already drawn up under May. So the first issue a new prime minister has to make clear is what are they going to do with the withdrawal agreement that is there.
