Actually I’m not in Canada. My state flag is NJ.

Fire ants don’t survive in Canada. Not sure about NJ.

I would never transport fire ants.

But here’s a couple videos for you :) :

Investigate squirrels, too.

Red squirrels are dangerous (they like to nest in attics - which is dangerous to your wiring up there), but I understand that squirrels of all stripes are also nearly as tick-beneficial as opossums.

However, opossums appear to be the Gold Standard.

“Male possums have a forked penis so they can impregnate either/both wombs.”

Nope, not gonna do it, not gonna go there.

My grandmother had issues with fire ants trying to overwinter in her house.

Although way back then she used malathion on them.

Little known fact: Bram Stoker grew up next to a Democratic family and based his famous book on them.

I decided against working for military programs (chem/biochem) because I couldn’t deal with wearing the “space suits”.

There’s a lot of “counter research” going on that is just as and way more dangerous, than any weapons programs.

Our domestic enemies’ House of Representatives now needs to investigate those incendiary bat bombs we (allegedly) didn’t drop on Japan.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bat_bomb

It would have worked as evidenced by the armed released bats burning down the Carlsbad Air base.

sad that they didn't know how many mosquitoes bats eat a night & pests cotton moths, pollinate 90% of the tropical fruits around the world.

People ask why I love bats so much, I love mexican food. w/o bats no quacamole or margaritas. (bats pollinate both the avacado tree & the tequilla cactus)

My father used to laugh at my mom when she claimed that the CIA used to spray pathogens in tunnels and on buses to learn how bioagents can be spread.

Until the day it turned out to be true.

Did Pentagon turn ticks into bioweapons that spread Lyme Disease? N.J. congressman wants answers.

t sounds like the plot for a science fiction movie: A government agency decides to use ticks and other insects to spread disease and kill its enemies, only the ticks got out and infected the country’s residents itself.

New Jersey Rep. Chris Smith says that may not be too far-fetched.

He’s won approval from the House to have the Defense Department’s inspector general investigate whether the Pentagon actually looked at using ticks stuffed with pathogens as bioweapons during the height of the Cold War beginning in the 1950s.

He said several books and articles pinned the blame on the Pentagon, and perhaps some of the ticks and insects got out and helped to spread illnesses, most notably Lyme disease.

“If this isn’t true, let’s put it to rest,” said Smith, R-4th Dist. “For the sake of public health we should demand these answers.”
