Dealers perfected how to cut the drugs more cheaply and there was no quality control. Chances are you’d never see that dealer again and you sure as hell weren’t going to report a bad batch to the police. Drugs were the Wild West back then and a famous celeb would often get the purest cuts in hopes of getting them hooked.
