An art collector and scientist claiming to be Jeffrey Epstein's best friend for decades referred to the pedophile's underage victims as 'trollops' who were complicit and claimed he had a mental disorder which made him crave sex.
Stuart Pivar, 89, an industrialist based in New York, spoke in a wide-ranging and rambling interview about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein until he claimed he cut contact when he started to 'notice certain things' about his behavior.
Epstein, 66, killed himself August 10 in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan while awaiting trial next year on federal sex-trafficking charges. Numerous women in the United States have claimed they were sexually abused by Epstein.
Pivar helped establish the New York Academy of Art alongside Andy Warhol and Epstein would later serve on the academy's board.

I understand the discomfort. But, post pubescent 14-17 year old females are “illegal” only because, as the term indicates, some lawmakers decided to make them illegal at that age. If these women are voluntarily accepting money for sex, then they are what they are.

I don’t think that’s true at all. Teens are able to make moral distinctions.
And a magic minute between 17 and 365 days and the next day that brings on moral clarity from ignorance doesn’t exist.
Nonetheless, it is all illegal and does not exonerate or temper crimes of this nature by Epstein or anyone.
Even if the teen were ready willing and able and 100% on board, it is still illegal and not relevant.

I don’t think it is just “some lawmakers”. I think it reflects societal norms and values of this time.
We live in a strange age.
Sex between minors and adults is strongly discouraged and illegal. Which is of course good.
But sex among these same minors is encouraged and taught in schools and throughout society.
Around the world the age of consent varies, and is as low as 11. Japan is 13 and Germany 14.

You’re right but there are also a couple of side facts to this whole mess
Some of the girls have consistently lauded Epstein and refused to go against him well into their 30s now
Some have switched sides from bashing Epstein to recanting
Some have per other participants been less than completely truthful
I have no doubt Epstein was guilty legally of underaged girls and he and Miss Maxwell recruited them and I am starting to believe if Epstein and the triple play with 12 year olds is true was a bona fide legally and clinically defined pedophile
I’d like to see where this leads and to whom but just like the soft coup we won’t
So called wise minds will determine exposure is too hard for western governments to bear politically ...sadly
But on girls....I’m ambivalent honestly on some of the 17-18 year olds and for sure the older ones

I have heard the same story from a retired SS official. These girls were willing participants in his debauchery.
Where in the heck are the parents of these girls? It’s as if they have no parents. And were there any young boys involved?
Seems this has been going on for a long time and the feds knew it all along yet kept this going.
There was a story that came out yesterday about the sheer horrors that Judy Garland went through.
I suspect some of it were things she put up with for fame as was common at the time.
