Luck is reminiscent of another great Colt QB, Bert Jones. He was great, until the injuries took their toll.

Mahomes has eyes in the back of his head. He’d make Brett Favre look like Ryan Leaf.

Still waiting to see how Mahomes does in Year 2. Lots of QBs have come in and excelled in their first tour around the league. Then teams build up film on them, defenses study them and start to figure them out. Let's see how Mahomes adjusts to the adjustments. Rooting for him, because I want to keep hearing that voice in NFL interviews for years.

Yep, after his first season RGIII was looking like a sure Hall-of-Famer.

Well he got one at Denver.

But if they had lost that year, the rest of his life would have gone differently and he may have indeed never won one.

I recall a BAD penalty call in either the conference game or the super bowl that aided their victory greatly.

I remember him staring down when defense was on the field as if he was too nervous to even look.

By the time he wont the SB in Denver, he was older and much more poised.

Oh well.

So long and good luck, Luck :)

He has a genetic oddity in his foot which is reportedly causing serious problems.

I think he’ll do good. No sophomore slump. My Packers play them end of October and I’m definitely taking a road trip to KC. Always wanted to get at that BBQ and Jazz.

Bert Jones had the misfortune of playing against the ‘70s Steelers and Raiders defenses...

Why on earth would that happen?

Maybe guys with real degrees who didn’t burn through their money but there are a MILLION more who have NOTHING else to offer and blow their money as fast as it comes in.

Would be funny if Eli wound up with more rings than Peyton.

Just a note, Jacoby Brissett, listed as next on the depth chart, has a better quarterback rating that Kaepernick had over the last two years that he played.

That is it, a tie??

I read that Eli was MAD when Peyton won his second one!!

You can pretty much say that about anyone compared to Krapernick...

"Bert Jones had the misfortune of playing against the ‘70s Steelers and Raiders defenses."

Bert J. had the misfortune of playing "actual" football... Luck never had to...

Maybe OC Bevel, but not Russ. Still say that Brandon Browner should have got the flag for D-holding. He had Jermaine Kearse in horse collar hold by the back of the shoulder pads.

Oh well...

He has won a Super Bowl. Against Denver.

Andrew just got married. I have a hunch that figures into it more than injury. It’s happened a zillions times before.

My guess is he’ll be back.
