What would the difference be between Hominid eyes and other Primates? The former may be adapted to tasks other than seeing one's way between the trees.

lol, True. But seriously... That is extremely disproportionate for a 5 ft human or primate. I think this is way off and actually a smaller sized primate (3-3.5ft) they found here and not a taller hominid at all.

I know, I mentioned “other” primates in my statement. But Hominids are unique from other primates so I have to classify them as separate species somehow correct? :)

They always make the eyes human. Yes, I've noticed that but since soft tissue like the eyes are not fossilized, the postulated eyes are a WAG (Wild Assed Guess)!

That is what I was wondering, is this unique difference one of the known scientific identifiers between the two like teeth or jaw sockets, etc.? Meaning all hominids would of course by default have eyes like humans not like other primates?

That’s a chimp. I heard about “Lucy” all those years, and the first “humans” bla bla bla ad nauseum for 20 years in National Geographic.
Then one day, I saw a scale model of “Lucy” in a museum. All I could think was “dammit, the SOBs tricked me again. That’s a chimp of some sort and that’s all”.
