A Little Caesars restaurant in Fargo, North Dakota is capturing hearts and feeding the hungry with a new policy they posted with a sign in their window.
A new idea came to General Manager, Michelle Lussier, after she noticed an ongoing problem: people were eating leftovers from the store dumpster. Lussier decided to approach the situation with a surprising solution, offering free slices of pizza inside the store.
She recognized that the homeless are human beings the same as everybody else, and deserve dignity, respect, and compassion.
The sign hung on the drive-through window reads:
“To the person going through our trash for their next meal, you’re a human being and worth more than a meal from a dumpster. Please come in during operating hours for a couple slices of hot pizza and a cup of water at no charge. No questions asked.”
In a video about the new policy, Lussier offers hope. Instead of merely “thoughts and prayers,” she offers something real: delicious pizza.
“Don’t feel embarrassed if you’re hungry and you don’t want to do what others do, you know stand on the corner for handouts,” says Lussier.
“…You feel down about that, you’re more than welcome to come here and grab a couple slices.”
According to Valley News Live, the restaurant also donates leftover pizza to the local food pantry and has a donation box inside the store that benefits the homeless in the area.
This restaurant is extending goodwill to the homeless. In return, they endear themselves to the community with some good public relations, earning well-deserved customer loyalty.

Maybe not, but Little Caesar’s makes some good pizza for the price.
If it is her store, her pizza, and her money, she is free to do what she wishes. Power to her.
If not her money or product, she should be talked to.

She collects and receives donations for this. So it’s not like she’s doing this at a loss. People are willing to give to help out.
Plus left over food she has she donates to the homeless shelter. I have known may of restaurant to do this, and it’s a tax write off.
Like I said-if it is her business, good for her. People should be free to do whatever they want with their own money.
What could go wrong with offering free stuff to an unknown individual who eats out of a dumpster?
Little Ceasars offers a discount on franchises for veterans and a free franchise for disabled veterans.
Either she or the writer embedded an anti-Christian agenda in the article.
Also, the sign is posted on the drive-thru window, not at the dumpster, so this is mostly virtue-signaling.
I noticed a couple of rats in my garbage. I felt sorry for them and left my door open so they could eat what they wanted in my kitchen. I’m sure it will work out well

This will fly in flyover country. On Dem turf, not so much.
Little Caesar’s is mass production fast food of lower quality than Domino’s. If value is your thing then go for it.
I quit going there once my kids discovered real pizza.

I had ordered 20 pizzas for an end of year Catechism party and I noticed a youngish man sitting on the sidewalk as I went in. I put the pizzas in my car and then grabbed one and asked if he would like it. His reaction was worth every penny spent on the pizza.
