and what was hilarious was that the tv station later apologized that they showed only one race of people complaining about not getting their fried chicken! Seriously. Like they expected the tv crew to wait around for one white person to show up to interview.

Funny story about a gun shop owner.
He was a retired cop. A bad guy came in to rob the store. That shows immediate stupidity by the bad guy.
In the store were some retired cops. Retired cops like to hang around with their old friends especially if it is a gun shop. It was just by chance.
It was not a good day for the bad guy. Actually it was a very good day for him. He just went to jail instead of dying that day.
When you are robbing a store and one of the customers locks the door with all on the inside you know it is a really bad day.
I hadn’t had Popeye’s in about fifteen years. Then a few years back, I tried it again, and found it to be nondescript. Not long afterwards, a friend of my step-daughter’s told her that he quit there and dropped a dime on them to the health department. The manager was forcing employees to put rancid chicken in tubs of bleach water overnight to cook for customers the next day. Well, the health inspectors pulled a ‘surprise’ visit in short order, and closed the place permenently. It took them until this spring to get a new franchise back in town.
