Four months or so left as a Windows user for me. Been using Windows since 3.1. Don’t think I want to go to Win10.

MS sent a major upgrade to my Win10 tablet yesterday. It took half of the day to get the download; then, half the evening to install it.
Now, the tablet boots, stays open for a few minutes, gets major crash errors and .net errors, then reboots to more of the same. It has rebooted over a dozen times this morning.
At least with Win7, I can turn off auto-updates, but ‘critical’ updates still get installed. Occasionally, although it has been a while, I had to run System Restore on my Win7 laptop and desktop.

Are the vendors and jurisdictions going to recertify their systems after what will be a massive patch? I doubt it.

It has to do that in order to successfully report all of your personal data back to Colossus and Guardian. /only half-joking

I’ll pass. Don’t want the Daily Signal, Breitbart, etc. blocked by my own computer.

for a long time, i have been under the impression that xfinity automated tellers still use windows 98. apparently the jump to windows 2000 was too much for the credit card companies to stomach...

Don’t laugh
Just got through a training session with a company who has contracted to do the “early voting (fraud)” using Ipads, wifi and Bluetooth.
I approached one of the hosters and asked if these tablets would be running IOS 13 in order to be patched for Bluetooth vulnerabilities. I got a blank stare.
