A few basic approaches:
1. If you are not interested in speaking to an office staffer, call after hours and leave a message. I searched old threads on FR and found this quote regarding contacting congress.
If you want, you can write out what you want to say ahead of time and just read it to the recorder. This way you don’t even have to identify yourself if you don’t want to. The one thing I do recommend is to say that you are a registered voter in their district. -wneighbor
2. You may choose to speak to someone in the office when you call - ask for public accountability. It's not enough for staffers to tell callers that the congress person "feels strongly" and "agrees with" and is "working behind the scenes...". You may ask when and where the congress person will speak out against the attempts to remove a duly elected president. You may ask when they will be publicly demonstrating their support of the rule of law ("we voted for this president, congress doesn't get to replace him with their preference") and that you will follow up with them as long as the congress person fails to represent voters. Here's another old post re the fact that your call/letter "counts" more than you may realize.
I don’t know the exact formula used today but it was the case that public officials assumed each call represented @ 700 voters, of which 699 don’t call - EDINVA
3. You may write a letter, Tweet, and use other social media to hold them accountable.
4. We are in this for the long haul, so I will pass along the wisdom of other FReepers and recommend that you put your congress persons on speed dial on your phone. You may even tell your congress person that you've done so because President Trump is giving power back to the people.
Since congress ignored us during the Bush, Clinton and Obama years, many have gotten out of the habit of contacting their congress person; it was clear they weren't about to work for us. We have to teach them THINGS HAVE CHANGED.
President Trump has done far more than enough to win our support in his battle with the Deep State and Media. Imagine what a shock the Swamp will endure if we ALL CALL, WRITE, TWEET etc. at once! And we KEEP DOING IT until they learn who is in charge!
You may call them daily or every few days - however much time you feel is reasonable; if they aren't willing to support the rule of law, then contact them until they do.
The following website provides an excellent central hub for identifying and contactng (email, Facebook, Twitter, phone, letter etc.) your sentators and representative.
Feel free to pick up the text of the post above, modify and improve it, and post it again. We need to sharpen our skills and encourage one another to be active in demanding justice because we finally have a president willing to fight for us.

I’m with you, it is precisely what we need to do. They just barricade themselves behind their staffers and at the end of the day or week ask, so “how badly were we bombarded, and what percentage of calls were negative.”

Terrific. I think that’s important. It tells them things have changed and they need to know that, they need to worry that other things may be changing too. :D
