We need our sources to do a better job of communicating the truth in a clear and non-biased way to properly reach swing voters and squishy Repubs.

Repubs can get certain folks in line. Do you recall all the resigning, retiring, not running again Repubs in 2016 that cost us the House Majority? That was all due to Paul Ryan for the most part. The only way to control Trump was to allow the majority in the house to swing to Dems. In California we lost many seats and we knew there was absentee ballot fraud and other fraud, yet we didn’t fight, we didn’t address, etc.
But they really don't -- they've often had defections on key votes that stop them from achieving what they'd like. If not for a very few Blue Dogs in the House and Senate in 2010, ObamaCare would have including a full-on "public option". Instead, they couldn't get "Medicare of All" out of the House or Senate, even though they had the votes by party-line.
Guys like Manchin will not stick with them on some votes no matter what Schumer says, etc.. And I'm guessing they may have a few key defections on impeachment as well.
