Go with a family member or friend. That way you can save each other's spot in line for bathroom breaks. But honestly, it's going to be a very friendly crowd so even a stranger will save your spot for you if necessary.
Get a big breakfast before going. I'm talking a heaping plate of eggs and bacon. A lot of people without food in their bellies will faint later in the day after standing for hours and that's a shame, to wait all day, only to be carried out by medics just before the big moment of Trump's arrival.
I also recommend dressing well (business casual). Staffers will pick the better dressed people out of the crowd to sit behind the stage (where you will be on TV the whole time). Having Trump branded paraphernalia will help as well.
I went to one Trump rally a few years back and it was definitely a day to remember. The hours waiting in line went by pretty quickly.
Also, should add that you might consider bringing a ratty lawn chair. One that you don’t mind losing. That way you can sit most of the time and when you get to the front, they will obviously not let you in with it but you will see a big pile of lawn chairs, coolers, etc., that were “confiscated” by security. They will just throw your chair on top of that pile and let you in. Don’t expect to ever see that chair again but after the rally I went to, there were people rummaging through that stuff so maybe some of them got their stuff back.
I’m in Missouri and not going to Dallas. I would actually prefer outside though
Held in ARLINGTON, not as d’rat infested as DALLAS.
Enjoy the rally, have fun and thank GOD you live in a state which, though not completely RED, does have better manners than those states further north.
It is at American Airlines Center, downtown Dallas, where the Mavs And Stars play
unless it has been moved?
Right Am. airlines.
However, when originally announced it was stated the rally would be held in Arlington.
So, which is it? Downtown Dallas or Arlington?

? Not sure why that link says Arlington
It is at the AAC, downtown Dallas.
If the ticket actually says Dallas - it would be wise to plan on DALLAS. HOWEVER, it is most certainly remembered that when announced it was stated AA Center in Arlington, Texas. Must assume when the announcement was made, the announcer was NO TEXAN! A number of miles are paved between DALLAS and ARLINGTON.
OH! Another thought come to mind. RSBN is also saying “Arlington, Texas”. They spoke the word “Arlington” last night in their coverage of the Louisiana rally.
I never heard the rally was to be held anywhere but Dallas.
Whoever reported Arlington got it wrong.
My info came from the Trump Campaign.
d’rats attempting to confuse Trumpers and Trumpets?
Someone made a grave error. Never let a crisis go to waste.
Will be watching wherever it might be held. Our President is hitting them out of the park! :-)
No. no one here in Dallas is confused and certainly no one with tickets is confused.
So good to hear you’ve tickets in hand.
;-)
Envy the fact you are attending. Not so much envied is the fact of actually “getting to and leaving from the venue” Oh! the traffic and the crowd. It will be huge! Dallas may be full of d’rats, but the area has its share of conservative TRUMP supporters as well; even as far north as Lake Texoma.
Thanks
I know many more people have tickets that can get in which is why I asked advice from people who have been to rallies
I will get there early
Thanks to all who advised me
Fortunately since Trump fans aren’t thieves, we left them outside and picked them up after we were done.
