Henderson State University? Is that one of those colleges which requires a positive result on either the SAT, the ACT or an EKG for admission?

I’m a Chemistry Professor. My students often ask if I’ve watched Breaking Bad. I answer yes. They ask if I was ever tempted to manufacture meth. I tell them this is the dark side of humanity, meth is pure evil and so is anyone who would bring about the destruction of innocent children.

Good answer.
When I was a PhD student one of he older (late 20’s) masters students in lab hit the lotto. Not a huge amount, maybe $200K equivalent to today.
He didn’t last long as a student and about a year later we saw he was arrested for having a meth lab.

If I'm not mistaken, Henderson State University is located in the tiny town of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, so I think we can at least say that this is not an urban meth.

I wanted to see how many posts there would be before a picture of him was shown :)

The profit potential is ridiculous.
I was on roxy’s for a while and I was offered 3,000 dollars for a bottle that cost me a 5 dollar co pay.
And this was ELEVEN years ago.
I passed.
You figure a 240 pill max dose roxy bottle will go for about 20,000 dollars today if sold on the streets and not wholesale.
For a 5 or 10 dollar co pay.
That’s scary.

I probably have several containers with 4 or 5 old oxy pills in them laying about. “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”.

That’s certainly a fitting statement here! :)
They were STRONG ones I took and they just didn’t help with the pain (post stroke, hard to treat) and I came off of a very high dose with no problem.
CANNOT say the same for klonopin, a benzo.
VERY HARD to get off of. Again, prescribed med.
