Today’s audience sees James Bond as a fascist who fought on the wrong side of the Cold War.

Plenty O’Tool, Ona Top, and the list goes on. I wonder if, anywhere in the film they apologize for making 007 a real man and not the woke pajama boy who is taking a backseat to the new Femanazi’s. Of course I’ll never know if that scene exists because I’m done with Bond. Brocolli and Saltzman are turning over in their graves. I know they would have NEVER gone for this crap. I know I won’t.
Hollywood does not know what a strong woman is.
Another movie ruined, another movie franchise ruined.
James bond can just cut his dinky off now.

So, they are going to kill the Bond franchise, too??? Sorry to see this. As a teenager, I was entranced by Sean Connery, but being much older now have never ‘bought’ Daniel Craig. How sad that all our ‘manly men’ are being replaced by weenies and stronger women. The ladies who liked Sean Connery won’t be going to see the next one.
And that’s so important when making a movie FOR ENTERTAINMENT

But the appeal was the formula: single British spy, male, maybe with the assistance of a few other secret agents and a lovely woman either victimized by or turncoat against her evil organization, thwarts some evil plan and kills the bad guy behind it all, says witty things, gets help from Q, and shags a beautiful woman or two along the way.
Clearly they are not making Bond films for people like me anymore. Like most here, I doubt there will be much of an audience for the new, woketacular James Bond.
Typical tactic of the cultural left — colonize some host cultural institution, then like a virus turn into something that works for you.
The Bond series was nothing like the books until they sold on the screen. The original Bond in the book wore a bowler hat and carried a cane. He got beat up often and basically stumbled on to any success. Of course that wouldn’t have sold an action movie. So they get a true chauvinist with his Scottish upbringing and it was a winner. It wasn’t broke, don’t fix it. Just let it go quietly into history without harming it.

Yep, I agree, this is the “go woke, go broke” trend and they really don’t see it coming. They honestly think they’re onto SJW nirvana. They’re going to introduce 007 fans to a whole new world of “strong, intelligent, better than men, femanazis” that make everything better, even movies.
It’s amazing how blind they are. You know somewhere along the making of this catastrophe someone said, “are you freaking crazy, 007 has a following and demographic that has been developed since before Dr. NO in 1964 and you’re going to tell all of those fans to get bent. Who in hell do you think will pay to see the new woke 007?” And that person was promptly fired and banned from the movie industry for being a non-believer.

“Live and Let No Time to Die Another Day Finger”
This will be the first Bond film I miss since I saw Thunderball and Goldfinger upon release in the theater.
Both on Saturday matinees, two films for $.50. Moms could drop us off with a single dollar each and we were set for 4-5 hours.
State theater on J St. in downtown Modesto CA.
Daniel Craig has done an excellent job.
I think he’s the best ever.
