The gender of the politicians is irrelevant - pols just want power and all that comes with it, so they’ll say whatever they believe that the majority want.
Most men are not by nature liberals or leftists - but when they are young and the little head is thinking for the big one, they will also say whatever it is that women/girls want them to say in order to, uh, capitalize on the “shared” sentiment. Men’s role throughout most of history has been to be the risk-taker and to provide; women have generally been dependent for food, shelter and protection on men. Politically speaking, providers/risk-takers tend to be more conservative/libertarian - they want to keep the product of their risk-taking and hard labor...just as those who are dependent upon Daddy or Hubby or male adult children tend to be more liberal. These are, of course, just TENDENCIES, not absolute rules. My mother, for example, lived at home before getting married, and after my father died she has been cared for by some combination of her 3 adult male kids (physically-speaking, because she has her own money) - but she is very politically conservative.
Back when I was a semi-serious runner and an age-group award contender in many races, one of my goals was to beat the first woman. Because she was an outstanding athlete, and for an old guy to match her was an accomplishment.
Leftists bring these problems on themselves and it’s not on us to intervene.
Agreed 100% on that point.
But, to your other point, based on my observations, women who are "homemakers" tend to be conservative, too. Of course, many other factors may be involved.
Cool!Dad was just being good dad. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
I am well acquainted with a woman from our area who competed in the 1968 Olympics, a javelin thrower. She votes in the district in which I work the polls and I see her and her husband around town from time to time. Next time I see her I’ll ask for her take on the trans-g situation.
Married women don’t. Vote overwhelmingly for liberals, that is.
If this were really about women vs. transgenders, women would win. However, it’s about “women’s sports”, which not all women care about, vs trangenders + every other perversion they are aligned with, which most leftists do care about.
I think the women are going to take the hit on this one.
“If women don’t want to compete against males in their sport then talk to other women and change their ways.”
Popcorn, get your popcorn....
Look up complete androgen insensitivity syndrome. These XY individuals grow up female in appearance, but lacking a uterus. Anyone looking at them would think “girl” and they would have no reason suspect otherwise until they seek treatment for amenorrhea or infertility.
One or two of them qualified for the Olympics in the sixties, were disqualified by the chromosome tests, but eventually the IOC allowed them to compete. Their only physical advantage is they tend to grow slightly taller and slenderer than most women because there is no puberty estrogen surge.
I have no objection to these people competing as women. They look absolutely nothing like Caspar Semenya who is obviously androgen-sensitive and makes a plentiful supply.
Exactly, it should be 100% to restore sanity. I would even settle for 70%, anything less than that then look at your own demographic. Not to pour salt into the wounds but women are voting Democrat at almost 60%. Which party is writing laws to allow men to compete against women?
That needs a like button...
Correct, the majority of married women voted for Trump.
Thank you Lulu, may God bless you and yours as well. May the turkey be delicious, may the company warm your heart, and may political discussion be suspended for the day.
Have a good one my FRiend.
He’s Australian?
yikes
Good for you to keep the competitive fires going.
