A young teen brutalized in a viral video saw a measure of justice today, after assailants who attacked him were charged for beating him up for wearing a Trump hat.
Five young teens in Florida were charged with misdemeanor battery after a video went viral of the group beating up a 14-year-old classmate on a school bus.
All five of the assailants were Black and the boy was White, raising outrage that this was a racial "hate crime."
The boy’s parents said this attack came just after the boy wore a MAGA hat to school and openly voiced support for President Trump.
The five teens in Hamilton County were charged with misdemeanor battery, according to the sheriff’s office. The Sheriff would not tell 24News if they planned to pursue hate crime charges in the case.

WHY is it WORSE that I commit a crime against you because of race, color, religion, political opinion or any similar reason, than just because I dislike you enough to commit a crime against you OR for any other CRIMINAL reason?
