Saints lost. They weren’t good enough. Deal with it.

The Saints hit Farve LATE multiple times on purpose.

What was Payton suspended for? Too much whining?

“Lifelong Vikings fan here - I’ve watched them choke at the worst times over many decades.”

Two of the most memorable, both in NFC Championship games:

Gary Anderson’s only FG miss of the season (almost a chip shot) in what almost assuredly would’ve sealed the win over the Falcons,

and “12 men in the huddle” called, moving the Vikings out of field goal range (which would’ve likely iced the game), followed by a Favre interception that set the Saints up for the game winning field goal.

So, no team’s fans should complain about a “curse” to Vikings fans.

I see you support the Kneeling League. Pro football is a treasonous activity these days...

Why single out the Vikes? Is that the only team the Saints have had a problem with in the playoffs? How about the Rams? Seahawks? Niners?

Love watching Sean Payton lose. The Vikings were a victim of the Saints “Bounty” system for cheap shots. Sean Payton was suspended for 1 FULL season in 2012. Saints! Don’t care either way. Payton doesn’t deserve to win.

Agreed.

I’m not the one who’s complaining about the Saints losing. It’s the Vikings fans who can’t stop crying about their precious cry baby quarterback Farce getting hurt in that game. Farce screwed up and threw an interception late in the game and he wasn’t hit when he threw it. And if there were a lot of late hits on Farve, why weren’t they penalized for them? I’ll throw it right back at you. The Vikings lost that game. Get over it.

i am not a Viking fan.

Saints just aren’t that good.

Greatest QB by statistics Brees has won the same number of Super Bowls as Nick Foles.

Payton, and the bad Mojo he carries around, has held Brees back.

Free Speech has never been, and ever will be, treason.

They are scum for doing it, but they have the 1st Amendment right.

Now Drew Brees and Tom Brady can watch the Super Bowl together from the couch.

Maybe lick their wounds.

So to speak!

One thing’s for sure. I feel snakebit this season, and it ain’t just the Saints at fault.

Back in the 70s, I went to some Saints games when I was a student at Tulane. I was there when then Saints QB John Reaves was so wild in his passing that the stadium announcer called one play as “John Reaves’ pass into the Westside stands is incomplete.” The Saints have always seemed snakebit.

partial measure of karma for the injustice of 2009 nfc championship bountygate that stole Vikings Super Bowl

I am not inclined to believe that there is some curse involved here. The Saints missed an earlier field goal, and could have won the game outright. They did tie the game though to send it in to overtime. Minnesota won the toss and scored a touchdown. It is possible that had the Saints won the toss they may have scored the winning touchdown.

Just an opinion here. I don't think ANY of the teams which won this weekend have the gas to go all the way and win the Super Bowl.

Saints aren’t that good? Let’s see. Saints Super Bowl rings, 1, Vikings, 0. Saints 12-3 this year, Vikings 10-6. Vikings-Saints happened 10 years ago. Move on.

They can partially blame the Seahawks for costing them a bye week.

Growing up in L.A. and being a Rams fan, I hated your purple people eaters as they regularly kicked the Rams butts.
