Also, a rally held on someone’s large parcel of private property sounds like a better idea. I wonder if their are any sympathetic business owners in town that would offer up their parking lot?

So you're squarely BEHIND the effort. Gotcha, and frankly I don't blame you. As I understand what's happening in VA there are numerous sheriffs who have made their counties Second Amendment Sanctuaries. Why not muster in one of those places rather than where the baby-killing governor has cages set up for the patriots? After the intentional trap that was Charlottesville, this effort is a really, really bad idea.
