The entire concept of "cultural appropriation" is absurd. All cultures have absorbed influences of other cultures.
It would be as ridiculous to say that English speaking people cannot use words taken from other languages, e.g. bungalow, sommelier, or boondocks, or that French speaking people cannot say week-end, or that German speaking people cannot say baby-sitter.
