There are two steps:
1. Screen
2. Confirmation
A person can be screened positive for the coronavirus but it can be a false positive.
A confirmation test is necessary to see if the virus is actually the coronavirus.
The twitter links to a Brazilian report that his confirmation test is still waiting results.
The reason to be skeptical is because it was reported yesterday that Bolsonaro’s executive assistant Wernhardt was tested positive and that he had had contact with President Trump. He had to appear before the cameras to say the report was false and that he was healthy.
I am sitting back and not buying into anything this news media is presenting. They are out of control, out of bounds period. I will wait to see how things unfold.

Five days now the average incubation. With all the public exposures Trump and Pence have had, the question is whether they are carriers at this point.

Trump said the media hysteria around it was a hoax, not that the virus itself was a hoax—despite the MSM presentations to the contrary.
He was presumably trying to fend off panic in the markets and elsewhere, though that is now looking like a mistake, of course. He likely believed it himself as well at that point.
He let the CDC handle things in terms of testing and that was the major mistake so far.
