It’s good to remember that fun stuff can ‘Go Viral’ too.
Good for Tim. Stay away from politics, sex and religion, you should be okay.

The stuffed mummy cowboy in the museum was once known as Don Imus.

I used to have a picture of myself from way back with a Fu Manchu. Embarassing.

"Stay away from politics..." Unfortunately, to the communist crowd, mentioning John Wayne's name is political...
Almost as bad as talking about Ronald Reagon, which is essentially outlawed in schools in the DC populated sections of MD...

Oh, that’s too funny.

Gonna see if my friends in OKC have seen this.

Hmmmm. I get the feeling this is supposed to be funny but it goes right over my head. Sounds like reasonable stuff that anybody would say.
I mean, I get the joke about not being allowed to wear the eye patch and hat. Ha ha. Museum humor. Everyone knows you can't actually handle the exhibits.
Maybe I should get my own grandson to explain some of this to me.

I think it’s the fact he doesn’t really know what he is doing. For example, he wrote out hashtag, instead of using the symbol #.
To: nickcarraway
Oh. I see it now. Heh, heh. That is funny. I thought he was calling himself Hashtag Tim.

It’s the refreshing naïveté, like he doesn’t know about platforms and content, puts them in quotes. It’s funny.

Ah. Thanks. I don’t get the selfie station thing. I’m assuming he’s doing something wrong there?

I just followed him on the Twit - I think he’s referring to he initially took a pic of a selfie station from about 20 feet away rather than standing at the selfie station.
He’s quite funny - says he’s been talking a lot to a longhorn steer, who is a good listener.

My son has a full beard and very long hair. For Halloween he shaved off the beard and turned it into a long fu-man chu and dressed up as a redneck. (It didn’t take much!)
A week later he still had it. “Yeah - I kinda’ like it! I think I’ll keep it like this.” I can’t recall if I said anything or not - probably not. He’s 25 and a great kid, his preference of facial hair is not on my list of things to worry about.
He ended up growing his beard out again though - so that was was good!
