This thing does ravage nursing homes of it gets inside. That is where all the lockdowns should be focused.
Locking down the general population does nothing. The real problem is that while relatives are forbidden to visit their loved ones in hospitals and nursing homes but all of the medical staff are allowed to go home to their families, are not monitored to ensure their or their families habits. They then come back the next day and it is very likely that they are carrying it in from outside.
Lock down all hospital and nursing home staff in their facilities for the duration.
