yes, and note the people in the stores; they trudge to the aisles they need to go, never looking up, never acknowledging anybody else...I was walking on a sidewalk, and two young women coming the other way stepped off and continued down the middle of the street...
as Rush would say ‘don’t misunderstand’, I love this distancing, as I dislike socializing...
It can be a bandanna or scarf; I’ve seen both.
They have to do something as long as people need to eat.
When they were saying there was no need for people to wear the masks (except the infected, so they didn’t spread it), it was clear they really just wanted the masks for medical people, first responders, and the political caste. I was wearing one quickly because every cop I saw (on the street or on TV) was wearing one; it was clear they knew something.
In California. Today I drove over to Walmart. People lined up waiting to get in, I passed. I drove down to Ralphs grocery a few hundred feet away, again people lined up. I passed. I next went to Target, again people lined up. Passed. Next I went to another Ralphs which was about 8 miles from that one. This did not happen just a bit over a week ago.
No lines. I got everything I wanted. Nothing blocked off as non essential like Walmart is doing in Michigan. Later I went to Arco gas station. While pumping gas I went inside, got a pop and asked for a scratcher lottery ticket (lost). At the check out a recent big plexiglass screen installed was in front plus the clerk was wearing a mask. He told me next time to wear a mask when I come in....
On the way out a another guy was coming in without a mask. He came out quick and I put my hand over my mouth to indicate a mask. He smiled and said he came back a second time and they would not serve him.
In the recent past anyone wearing a mask would probably be a robber.
Saw some weird looking guys wearing scarves in the grocery store and another guy with a bedazzled sparkling belt... Some gays view this as a time to accessorize : )
BTW the virus does not know what the date is. This virus has and will be around forever and will mutate to something else just like the cold and flu. The democrats will lock down the country as long as they can hoping it hurts Donald Trump.
