Stardom Wrestling confirmed Kimura's death on Saturday. It said details are still largely unknown and the group was cooperating in an investigation, and asked her fans to be respectful.

Kimura was found dead at her home, Japanese media said.

Kimura became the target of massive bullying on social media over her role on the Terrace House show on Netflix, which involves three men and three women temporarily living together at a shared house in Tokyo. The show was temporarily suspended due to the coronavirus.

In her latest Instagram posting Friday, she published a photo of herself and her cat, with a message saying "Goodbye." Another posting carried a message "I love you, live long and happy. I'm sorry."

These reality show contestants seem to die at disproportionate rates.

She was a wrestler?

I wonder if there’s any remorse from those who bullied her?

“I wonder if there’s any remorse from those who bullied her?”

I doubt it, they are probably bullying their next victim.

You have to have a screw loose to be on a reality show!

Some times, it's just not their fault.

There was that pregnant one-time Food Network contestant and her husband that were accidentally run over by their drug-impaired home contractor. They had stopped to help him with his disabled vehicle. No good deed goes unpunished as it began working again.

He dismembered and burned their bodies in a wood stove, then pawned a portion of the decedents' belongings.

Family thing. Mom was a wrestler.

Besides, that type of “wrestling” is scripted performance, not sport, and Hana had plateaued her interest in Dance.

As for the bullying, I guess she didn’t hear the expression “every knock a boost”, especially in crowd-drawing events.

I remember a US wrestling documentary where some known wrestler talked about one guy coming up with the character “The Sheik” during the Iranian hostage crisis, and generating so much hype by drawing the ire of the wrestling fans, it was good business, and everybody benefited.

That was the plea. My guess is that he murdered them and pleaded to a lesser charge to avoid the needle. The prosecution agreed because it wasn’t certain of being able to convict him. Both sides decided not to roll the dice on a trial. Owens was probably a murderous nogoodnik who was meticulous enough in covering his tracks that prosecutors had issues nailing his ass to the wall.

It’s sport in the sense that gymnastics is sport or synchronized swimming is sport. But it’s obviously a pantomime of rules-based hand-to-hand combat rather than the real thing, because the outcome is pre-determined. That’s if you believe boxing isn’t fixed.
