Skunk spray on the 00 buckshot should do fine. The left is openly saying they will seize power through violence if they don’t get what they want (i.e., giving them money and power without violence; ending capitalism, ending law and order) through “peaceful” protest. Only way to resist that is with greater violence. That is why they are focused on neutering police, so far with great success.

My neighbor has worked with the Israel's to develop sound wave deterrent devices. They are used for crowd control. The US military also has them. I would believe major police forces like the NYPD also have them. The question is why didn't they(NYPD) or other police forces use them?

They are not protesters. They are Communists, Socialists, Revolutionaries , Anarchists, members of ANTIFA. Of all those who shed all the crocodile tears over the guy in MN that that the Police killed, there is not one of them who would piss in his mouth if his ass was on fire. Nor is there one of them who would not kill him at the first opportunity.
