Lemon grass, very pretty
Planting lemon grass is smart
But for cows who feed on lemon

Our 5 year old grandson was learning to rhyme when he let one slip, then said “and I have a gasey assey.” Took a while to stop laughing.
I’ve grown lemon grass in the lower mid-west. It’s a hardy grass. The guy that sold me the cute little plant said, “It’s just grass.” It looked beautiful as it grew to abut 2 feet and overtook its area. I harvested the stalks and froze them. They were nice to throw in Asian cooking for a few months.
Who cares when all you like from BK is their chicken sandwich!
So, the BK lounge is going to reduce emissions from cows, but they still use the conveyor belt cooker. What about the exhaust from the fuel they use?

Carbon dioxide is .02% by volume of the earths atmosphere. I’d say that’s a drop in the bucket.
As a former cattle raiser, I am a bit baffled.
Our calves lived on grass until auction barn time, then it was out of our hands. They probably landed in the TX panhandle or OK somewhere at a feedlot.
Does BK have their own herd and feedlot?
Next time I visit BK, I’m ordering a four-fart-bacon-cheeseburger and baked beans.
I have no problem with this.
My wife is a vet. I’ve been with her to the corporate farms with 3000-4000 cows and look at the row upon row of football sized manure lakes bubbling methane and the difficulty of transporting away all the manure.
I guess that just leaves Wendys if I want a fast food burger. All the rest can pound sand.
I ate a Burger King fish sandwich for lunch, made from Alaskan pollock, and it didn’t fart. How many likes would I get if I posted that on Facebook? (Just curious)
If the cows eat lemon grass will the burgers taste like Pledge?

Ridiculous and obnoxious but kind of funny commercial last night. On mute, I can see it’s some EnviroMental pandering.
They got 2 full minutes for this commercial. 2 minutes!
Most BK customers have no clue what a feedlot is. I give directions to Hereford (Texas). Go north until you smell it then west until you step in it.
