Who is “shocked” that criminals come out in force when you cut the police force, scare the remaining cops that they will be sent away for 20 years for doing their jobs, substitute social workers for cops, disband the crime-prevention unit, and stop-and-frisk, let the rabble run loose demonizing police and elect a communist mayor? It is a perfect storm.
