Of course what they said to democrat press is not what they told a closed session of the house and senate oversight committees because they knew it was all a lie and didn’t want to get in trouble with the law.

Or else he was told by Comey and Brennan to take one for the team and President Biden would pardon him to keep him from testifying in court. With the alternative being an Epstein-level case of depression while waiting for trial.

If that were the case, there would not be a plea deal. A plea deal pretty much assumes cooperation by the person making the deal.

But, this is uncharted waters. We have not had a situation before, where the coup failed.

I count Watergate as a successful Media coup.

Adam Schiff is a useless waste of human protoplasm. Nothing he says is of any value in a serious conversation about how and why the whole investigation of “Russian collusion” even got started.

Do not pay any attention to what Adam Schiff says, but keep a keen watch on what he does and has done, and whether any of his actions conformed fully to the legal strictures which even a Congress member cannot flout with impunity.

I’m shocked to find a DNC operative being held accountable for political crime.

He hasn't been held accountable quite yet. Let's wait and see if he suffers any consequences for his actions (i.e. justice served). Getting a slap on the wrist and being told "You're a bad boy" is not being held accountable. Jail or prison time is.

They probably don't need his cooperation..there appears to be a paper trail.

Cooperation doesn't necessarily mean snitching.

It’s a start. I’m guessing this runt is now singing like a bird.

“I Hope he makes deal.”

I hope he makes that deal and it’s official, before he runs out of time, if you catch my drift.

“Plead guilty to a FELONY.”

When a 38 year old lawyer does that, he really does a thing on himself because it means almost sure disbarment and destruction of his entire career, even if he doesn’t do any time. Methinks he’s singing now to avoid the gentle romantic attentions of Big Trayvon and Weird Harold. Given his position at the FBI he probably knows a lot.

After Trump won Clinesmith texted “Viva le Resistance”.

Besides producing false documents to obtain warrants in an illegal coup attempt, he doesn’t know the difference between French and Spanish.

“almost sure disbarment and destruction of his entire career,”

He will receive a sales or managerial position at some firm and be well paid. He may become a librarian at a private firm and be well paid.

It sure doesn’t happen very often, does it? 👎

It’s a start but Clinesmith is low hanging fruit.

Yes low hanging fruit but I wasn't even expecting this much.

This will have an effect though. Other government lawyers will think twice before corrupting documents to get their desired outcome.

Government lawyers career goal is to put in time to get a private law firm gig. The probability of getting caught is no longer zero and more importantly the probability of losing your law license is no longer zero. This jerk will serve as an example to all low level punks who think they have carte blanche to create "fake evidence".
