Economic Facts and Fallacies by Thomas Sowell came out in 2008, but like many of Thomas Sowells other books on economics, it remains a classic. What are the strengths and weaknesses of this book? How does it compare to his other major works?

Book Review: ‘Economic Facts and Fallacies’ by Sowell
The education establishment should be treating Thomas Sowell as a national treasure.
Dr. Sowell accurately predicted the various things that are happening now, thirty years after the book was published.
My only explanation is that he must have a time machine.

I had assumed that it is a special kind of wisdom that allows him to see where current events will lead. But it could be a different thing entirely from among the vast assortment of things I don’t understand.
Whatever it is, we’re lucky to have him.

Your comment reminds me of his The Vision of the Anointed: Self-Congratulation as a Basis for Social Policy. Almost 25 years old, and still totally accurate and relevant.
