I had seen this before but forgotten it. Amazing how so much of what we regard as a present danger started so long ago. It’s like C.S. Lewis’ denunciations of PC back in the ‘50s.

What skill set is the contractor getting from the ex-military guy???
Government grafted the same game into their offices.
Politicians and their staff move from congress to News organizations to lobby firms and back to congress.
They live to enrich themselves
Yet-Ike led the coup in Guatemala-or at least started that ball rolling down there. I spent time down there in my early military years, witnessing that genocide he helped start. Maybe he should have taken his own advice.
