Just got through Peaky Blinders...its good.
Ozark
Vikings
Narcos and Narcos Mexico and El Chapo all good.
I don’t use Netflix I stream on an android box and use Exodus or Yoda for apps...they cut all the commercials out and Netflix isn’t getting my money.
There is a movie called Time Trap, on one of those.
Agreed. Longmire was great. Was actually bummed when it ended. Is it 5 or 6 seasons? You (well I did) really get into the characters.
Bosch on Prime, I think if you like Poirot youll like it. Plus, if you are looking for an audio book, or wanting to read the Bible, David Suchet reads it and that is available for one credit on Audible .
On my second 30-day free trial of Prime. A few favorites include:
Prime:
Bosch
Counterpart (similar to “Fringe” alternate world starring JK Simmons)
Jack Ryan - 2 seasons
Mary Kills People (2 seasons assisted suicide that is actually well done - dark comedy)
The Killing - 4 seasons and HIGHLY recommended
Hunters - hunting NAZIs in the 70s
Chuck - still enjoy this series after so many re-watchings
Warehouse 13 - free on prime’s “IMDB Free” channel
Hulu (5.99/month):
“Palm Springs” - 90-minute movie with Andy Samberg, Cristin Miliotti & JK Simmons (a different take on the “Groundhog Day” story...but MUCH better, funnier & more heart touching)
Cobra Kai also on YouTube premium.
Altered Carbon definitely for adults, S1 more so than S2.
Goliath S3 a little weird. I stuck it out because of Dennis Quaid. Weird relationship between him and his sister Amy Brenneman. She’s come a long way since NYPD Blue.
So do love Bosch too! So true to the books, the casting is perfect!
yes, LOD is really well made.
Loved Bloodline on Netflix I think. Set in the Keys in FLA. Really good. Was bummed when they didn’t do a 3rd (or was it 4th) season.
“Cuties” is a vile sexploitation film about eleven year old girls.
Freaks and pedophiles just love it.
It’s Joe Biden’s choice for binge-watching.
Will definitely try that, RIP Diana Rigg.
Just watched #Alive, another Korean zombie film in the vein of “Train to Busan”.
As well Woman on the Run.
You can get Poirot through Amazon Prime, but you have to subscribe to BritBox ~ 6.99 a month. Also, Acorn TV carries all kinds of British TV, including Poirot and Doc Martin.
My wife, who was really confined to quarters because of chemotherapy, watched a lot of shows through BritBox. Acorn carries Doc Martin, which is really a hoot.
We recently unsubscribed, as she exhausted their inventory.
The Grand Tour is on Amazon. It’s the spin-off of BBC’s Top Gear. There’s also: The Men Who Built America.
