On "Outnumbered" today, Newt Gingrich is the guest. In the segment before the 10:30 break, they were discussing the unrest across the country.
Gingrich brought up the issue of who is funding, and (I believe)Melissa Francis blurted George Soros. There was a pause, and Gingrich said "he funded it". More pause, then Marie Harf says "I agree, he should not be mentioned as part of this". More pause, then Gingrich says "ok, thats verboten", then more awkward silence, and then to commercial.
Anyone catch that as well?
How was it squelched?

Fox has become part of the Left’s PC Marxist Propaganda wing.
It is a common and nefarious tactic of the left to act like facts are “embarrassing” and shouldn’t be said in polite company. Soros and his organizations poured millions into local prosecutor races to elect radicals who are helping destroy the cities.
Why someone cannot express an opinion or fact about George Soros is beyond me.
Apparently Soros has at least some control of Fox “News”.

The networks and cable do everything they can to avoid saying the names ‘Eric Ciaramella’ and ‘George Soros’.
In a just world, someone accused of everything Soros is accused of would either be: prosecuted, declared an enemy of the USA, have his assets frozen, and/or assassinated.
The fact that he is untouchable is worrisome.

Apparently so. I saw the segment at my doctor’s appointment. It happened exactly as the poster described and definitely was a WTF moment.
It’s way more than Soros. Even basic detective work by the Feds would no doubt show the links between Democrat NGOs and the rioters. It’s the same radical crowd using the well read Democrat playbook and not a new alliance.
But the “Barr” DOJ can’t find a crime it isn’t looking for. It seems clear they are giving Democrats a green light to defeat POTUS.
If Newt hadn’t stopped talking about Soros he would been cut off and afterwards treated persona non grata by Fox.
I don’t think the News business is a business. I don’t think it is funded much by advertising. I think that stuff is mostly a cover. I think it’s mostly Dark Money. The News has to say what it is told to say or else the money dries up real quick and everyone goes home. Or specific people go home.
