The left needs to get a grip, they do not own that seat on SCOTUS. Pure and simple they do not own that seat, it is not theirs to decide at this point in time.
President Trump is required by the constitution to select a candidate for that position and the US Senate is required to vote yes or no on their own schedule. Yes, politics does impact that schedule.
There is no timeline and there is no rule at all, anywhere, that puts a timeline on this issue.
In 2016 President Obama made a selection for an empty SCOTUS seat. The US Senate then controlled by the republicans made a choice not to put his candidate up for a vote.
Now, in real time, that situation is different. President Trump enjoys a republican majority in the Senate who will vote and approve his selection.
There is nothing that the left can do to stop it.
The left needs to remember that most of us do not like being threatened.
Take your best shot, then it is our turn and we will not stop with a single shot. Anything you threaten us with, we can do to you, harder, longer, more intensely, and with a great deal more pain.
If the left does not believe that I wan them to think about how many federal judges Trump has appointed and the Senate has placed on federal and appellate benches across our nation.
Harry Reid thought he could get over on the conservatives by waving the rules on SCOTUS votes and found out that the right can play that game too.
