Ruffalo received some pretty nasty responses to his support. So nasty, in fact, they resemble the kind of anger Ruffalo himself often shows to people he disagrees with. The irony just drips.
Source of the phrase, c. 1990, during Bush41:
"Even though there is no evidence, the seriousness of the charge is what matters. The seriousness of the charge mandates that we investigate this."--Thomas Foley (D, WA), Speaker, US House of Representatives
(Foley use to steal food off of airliners when deplaning.)
Downey has said, “I have a really interesting political point of view, and it’s not always something I say too loud at dinner tables here, but you can’t go from a $2,000-a-night suite at La Mirage to a penitentiary and really understand it and come out a liberal. You can’t. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone else, but it was very, very, very educational for me and has informed my proclivities and politics ever since.” He later added, I wouldn’t say that I’m a Republican or a liberal or a Democrat.”
Gunn’s going to end up in jail too . . .
Really? Why?
I don’t know much about these people, other than Robert Downey, Jr. Chris Pratt is familiar; he’s in movies my kids like.
