Here’s an interesting thought...
The pressure on Hunter builds, he cracks, and does something crazy like put up a YouTube video trying to explain himself. Or, he turns himself in as a witness against Father?
Drugs, booze, pressure, guilt, fear..... the pressure is probably crushing Hunter. He’s going to crack...
I agree. As hip and brilliant as the Democrats are supposed to be, they sure seem to struggle with basic use of computers and phones.
It could be a combination of all of this stuff—sometimes people don’t even know the _real_ reason they do what they do...
where did he say that? I hope that guy is in hiding.
That’s actually the most logical explanation. It was his stupid way of trying to hide it from somebody. In his drugged-out fog, it never occurred to him that the repairman was going to see the contents and do something about it.
Maybe he was given a heads up to disappear his computer, and then forgot
to retrieve it. Perhaps he wanted to destroy evidence and submerged it, but then realized he wanted His videos back?

Addiction is suicide on the installment plan and in most (successful) treatment venues, there is a concerted effort to help the addict overcome their self-loathing as part of overcoming their self-destructive behaviors.

He could do better if he wanted to turn himself in. He wouldn’t know the computer repair guy in Delaware wasn’t a liberal that would enjoy the videos and pictures rather than contact the FBI. That seems to be what the FBI did until he reached out to Rudy.
Yes I agree. We can speculate here and who knows for sure what was conscious and subconscious. He doesn’t seem to be giving interviews these days to clarify things for us.

My thought - He had 3 laptops, 2 were un repairable due to water damage. The other was fixed & forgotten. He spilled something in a stupor & panicked as he needed some of the data. Then he could not remember where he was and what shop he dropped it off with. He learned to live w/o the data and bought a new laptop etc.
I know someone like him, who had to call the Taxi company to find out where they picked him up the night before to find his car. It was his roommate who knew he came home by cab and the name of the cab company as he got stuck paying the fare.
If you follow the timeline of the lawsuit it becomes clear than once Hunter had “hidden” the laptop(s) at the repair shop, he could not get them back in the ninety day window because he did not want to pay the stripper, and the lawsuit continued for longer than ninety days.
Schmucks like him need an entourage to reinforce and project their sense of importance.
You may be on to something. I didn’t hear Rush (peace and health be upon him) but I don’t see any basis to conclude this was done on purpose, and least not beyond the extent you theorize.

Sounds about right. I can see why the Democrats don’t want to talk about foreign policy.
