Lol, that’s probably the most SFW video from that movie!
We watch it every year.
The Uninvited and Shaun of the Dead.
My Grandmother saw a ghost. She was napping on the sofa with her newly
1st born child, my uncle, waiting for my Grandfather to get home from his evening shift at the Chicago based railroad company he worked for.
The front door opened and a little old women walked across the living room, bent over and tapped my uncle on the head and left.
My Grandfather came home and my Grandmother was totally p.o.ed at the joke. He was able to convince her he was innocent.
A few weeks later she got a letter from Germany that her favorite aunt had died the day she got her visitor!
Would love to hear that story :)
Im totally enjoying these stories and movie favs, btw.
The Uninvited, great movie, btw.
Does seeing Joe Biden sitting in his basement count?
In Edmonton, other side of the river, Sherwood park side. River runs on the west side of this property.
I remember Kolchak! Loved that and Rod Serling’s “Night Gallery”. My parent’s actually let me stay up late to watch it every week.
Ive never seen a ghost....but.....
Amitiville Horror
Salems Lot
The Exorcist
And many others gave me many sleepless nights
You do realize from now on, every time I see one of your posts, I’m gonna think about this one! LOL!
Also... "The Keep"
I've never seen or heard a ghost, but I have several times experienced oppressive impressions at particular buildings or areas where some great evil was occurring or had occurred (as I learned later). I can't say if they were ghosts (they don't fit well into my theology) but I consider them some type of demonic oppression or infestation.
When I was young, Chicago TV, WGN, had a Friday night show, “Creature Features.” They showed spooky movies. My Dad and I would watch them together every week.
When “The Uninvited “ was on I fell asleep before it ended. (I was 5 or 6 at the time.) Didn’t see the ending until 20 some years later. Worth the wait!!!
I dont do spooky or scary movies. I dont do R rated either.
It gave Romero the idea for Night of the Living Dead and set off the zombie craze.
I was fascinated by that old abandoned amusement park and made a point to check it out some years ago. Dammit, some derelicts set a fire which burned the place down. The replacement was a pale copy and a big disappointment.
The old:
The replacement:
My favorite horror film is The Changeling, with George C. Scott.
ugh...the new one looks too much like a mosque....that is a fascinating film, almost got a documentary like feel to it...guess its considered a land mark film in terms of psychological thrillers....
Atta-boy Luther!

I like the Don Knotts movie a lot as well.

That one is a masterpiece!! Great film.
