The poor dog has been hiden from Biden.

VIRGINIA BEACH — A street savvy, stray dog living in the woods off Lynnhaven Parkway since summer continues to elude Animal Control.

On Tuesday, Supervisor Meghan Conti said officers are still trying to catch the white hound mix with tan spots.

The problem: The dog has become reliant of food handouts and isn’t hungry for the bait placed in traps.

“Don’t feed the dog,” Conti said. ...”

I can equate this to end result of Americans attempt to be free. And there is a trick around every bend.

Citizen Regina Quinn went on social media and posted the moment Lucy finally let her guard down “in the wee hours of the morning” on Sunday.

Good luck to the next adopter. Old Lucy is going to be less trusting than ever and constantly looking for her chance to escape.

A friend of mine has had good luck with feral cats by confining them in the house 24/7. Mysteriously, after a few years they actually become afraid to go out and won't even try if my buddy accidently leaves the door open while working around the house.

Don't know if dogs would react the same way, but Lucy's new owner is going to have to watch her like a hawk for a while. And take her to obedience training asap to get her used to following commands!

A man I know bought a cheap house that had a rat infestation. He tried everything, poisons, traps, various deterrents. Nothing helped, they were too smart. I told him to use liquor — a dish of wine. Pretty soon he had no more rats.
A little nip would probably have made the most skittish dog forget his misgivings. Of course with a dog you don’t want to overdose him.

Take away its EBT card. Problem solved.

Ah yes. And it figures the men couldn’t figure out how to trap her, all the time wanting to.

Never mind the dog is a female too. (I prefer females.)

That was his explanation for hurting his foot.

“I was just pulling the old dog’s tail.”

Is Lucy a Libertarian or a Socialist? Hard to tell. Wants to be free, but lives high on handouts.

I doubt any genuine dog lover could get through this KIDS CARTOON (movie) without shedding a few tears. I'm sure Netflix has it, maybe YouTube?

I’ve never had a beagle, but they are cute as all get out. When the allergy commercial that has a guy playing with a tiny, clumsy beagle puppy comes on, I can’t help but watch it despite how many times it’s aired.

Whenever my two dogs forget their indoor manners, they are reminded that it’s a good thing they’re cute.

Neighborhood dog, much like neighborhood cats. They know how to take advantage of humans, lol

There are thousands of these dogs in Virginia. The local use them for hunting in packs and many simply don’t return home. There are boxes on many rural roads where you can put these dogs when they show up at your door.

I hope you can enjoy being a dog owner when you are able. They are a bit more work than cats but those puppy dog eyes and wagging tails will make up for it.
