I’ll bet it’s good! An ice cream shop in my home town, Jersey Junction, offered dill pickle ice cream in the 60s. It was delish!

I have my pork and sauerkraut started. I will make the mashed potatoes later to finish the traditional Pennsylvania Dutch New Years good luck dinner.
Mine goes in the slow cooker first thing tomorrow morning along with one apple and some brown sugar. Balances the kraut beautifully.
