2020 was a pretty good year for my family. I got a raise and a bonus and got to work from home 100%, and still do, which is fabulous. No more commuting to nasty San Francisco on nasty BART.

My two young adult kids are employed and have nice girlfriends.

And I removed my teens from public school, still closed here in CA. One switched to private school, one switched to homeschooling. Should have done it years ago. The evil of the teachers’ unions has been revealed.

I also discovered War Room and Steve Bannon, and Scott Adams, podcasts I enjoy daily.

I’m in CA lockdown but I do try to look on the bright side. When the wineries are open, I visit the beautiful wine country, and enjoy the beautiful CA weather (when not full of smoke, ie the fall).

Trump was robbed of his re-election but I got to see him in person in a rally and I will always remember his administration fondly. Best President ever.

But of course I’m sad for those who’ve suffered the pandemic deaths and sickness. My goal now is to make it to the vaccine without getting it. I’ve made it this far!
