I think FR is “safe” until they pass the “Net Neutrality” law which ensconses government control of content on the internet - followed immediately by a ruling that ISPs must not allow “hate speech” on the internet.

I actually think we should do the opposite of secession.
Get the states which still value liberty to band together, declare that we embrace the principles of the Constitution and that we are the United STates of America.
And kick the rest of the states out. Tell them they are no longer members of the Federal Republic. Establish the new seat of national government in Amarillo.
In summary, don’t secede. Instead, kick out those states who don’t embrace the Constitution.
Damn, that’s a fantastic idea!
