The biggest of all the junk science movies I’ve ever seen.
I actually went with my kids to see it in the theater and we laughed through the whole thing, it was so bad.
It clearly annoyed many of the other patrons.

I’ve been in -40F once...and in -30F once. Both times were in Quebec. Stayed overnight both times...car started both mornings. But on one of those trips I arrived at about 6PM local and it was already -25F and it was so cold that when I went to fill my car the first pump I tried was frozen...had to go to another station.

I guess that’s what happens when you don’t see snow often enough.
That novelty wore off decades ago.
