There should be California lawyers that know how to deal like such scams.

If I have paid $100 per doctor visit and the doctors sends me a bill for $1000 for a like visit, the customary and usual amount should apply.

“Okay, folks, all entries above mentioning “kilowatts” and “megawatts” should now be known as “kilowatts/hour of electricity” and “megawatts/hour of electricity.””

No. This statement in the article is correctly referencing MEGAWATTS.

Under ERCOT’s market rules, such a pricing scenario is only enforced when available generation is about to run out (they usually leave a cushion of around 1,000 MW)

What are you referring to?

Griddy: "Yet, the PUCT left the directive in place and continued to force prices to $9/kWh,"

PUC: "...$9,000 per MWh"

Ist es jetzt klarer?

According to the article, that was not the case when the PUC intervene.

The actual price was $0.30 a KWH.

From the article:

Under ERCOT’s market rules, such a pricing scenario is only enforced when available generation is about to run out (they usually leave a cushion of around 1,000 MW). This is the energy market that Griddy was designed for – one that allows consumers the ability to plan their usage based on the highs and lows of wholesale energy and shift their usage to the cheapest time periods.

However, the PUCT changed the rules on Monday.

“However, the PUCT changed the rules on Monday.”

Think you misspelled PUCT, should be PHUCT.
