Health experts and city leaders are hoping it doesn’t involve loosening COVID-19 restrictions as he teased last week during his visit to Corpus Christi.
Of course lib city “leaders” don’t want absurd mandates lifted. Tyrants!
Gov Abbott is quickly being shown up by FL GOV DeSantis.
There was a lot of Blood on the Rooftops of The Alamo, after the battle.
Mickey Dolenz (Monkees) while living in England in the mid-‘80s, gave in to his “geeky” side and decided to go back to college to study physics.
In 2017, he visited Fermilab, America’s particle physics and accelerator laboratory.
“I’ve been a fan of particle physics for my whole life. My first email address back in the early ‘90s was Higgs137,” he said, referencing both the Higgs boson and the number of the fine structure constant, a number former Fermilab Director Leon Lederman observed as one of the most recurring in physics.
Yup. It was a real Land Of Confusion.
It was certainly no Battle of Epping Forest.
I hope it DOES involve lifting the ridiculous restrictions. I have HAD covid, and yet I am made to wear a stupid mask....for whatever stupid reason. I have REAL antibodies, and yet am shamed if I don’t zombie with the rest of people. In some cases of health, yes, a mask is smart, but not for everyone!
Apparently his wife didn't want him to collect antique cars, but she was okay with him collecting 'tanks'.
I get that. Being a suburban NYC kid, the space, light and narrative of the American West always held an allure. As a kid, I read nearly every Louis L’Amour book up until his last one (I think) - Haunted Mesa.
Thanks, just got back from lunch so missed it!
👍👍 were you real sick with Covid?
Collins said he’s been fascinated since he watched the old Disney TV series, “Davy [sic] Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier.”
The collection includes one of only four rifles known still existing and documented to have been owned by Col. Crockett (which, unless I’m mistaken, doubles the number of Crockett rifles in the Alamo collection).
Lowest estimate I’ve read on how much he spent on all that stuff was $8 million.
I was. My husband was too. However, I had pneumonia and had to be on oxygen 24 hours a day for a week and took antibiotics and steroids. We were both on 2 nebulizer meds. It was a very slow recovery, but we’re all good now.
That short British drummer from Genesis band in the 80’s?
That’s the guy.

That was my guess. Thanks for confirming.
Thanks for this because just caught the headlines on my break at work.
Our very small (population) county has a Judge who imposed continuing masking mandate.
He can forget that crap. Political BS.
Yes, we do have cases and yes some are fatal. But No, they have no authority to dictate this.
The virus is dying down and the ComDems are very very sad. It interferes with their agenda.
