“Community leaders”, “racial-justice charities”...take a wild-assed guess. This foolish, idiotic woman will blow through her fortune in no time.
It’s her money and she is making it faster than she can give it away.

Think about it. Jewett is speaking here about all the money that the ex-husband of his new wife earned. This just seems more than a little bit emasculating.
I’d rather be poor, conservative, and happy, than to be married to a liberal nut.
No wonder she married him look at the beak on that guy.
She is throwing away the money. Giving it to another group who will spend it on salaries for themselves. She could give direct to people and it would do much better.
Henry Ford II was a conservative person.
Robert McNamara was not.
