I’m not born and bred down here. Moved down in ‘95 and have loved every day of it. Grew up on Long Island. Fished as a kid. Now I’m all about the shotgun, rifle and 4wheel drive and have been since about Day 1.
I think back to when I first moved down here, didn’t pay much attention to politics, but Miller and Barnes seemed like pretty legit guys.
Especially ol’ ZigZag Miller .... those old Blue Dogs make Duncan, Kemp and Raffensberger look like Abrams’s BFFs.
Deal, for me, started a lot of what is going on in Georgia right now. Kemp is so deep in the movie industry right now he’s like a puppet. Would love to see a real, impartial, unbiased report on just how much money it brings to the state compared to what it gets in all the tax breaks its been given, without the consent of the taxpayer. Funny how that stuff works.
And they can talk all they want about these new voting laws. Till they’re blue in the face. Unless they put an end to the ‘mail in voting’ it’s done here in the state of Georgia and everywhere else. Covid-22 is brewing up as we speak.

On a side note....since SCOTUS has stated that they cannot and will not interfere with state election laws and results, given that it declined to hear any cases regarding the election, wouldn’t that mean that no federal court can hear one? Would that then mean that Abrams cannot run to her sister every time she needs something done?

Like anything else, one got in, then got their buddy in, and they got their buddy in. No different than how liberals take over a corporation to make it woke. One gets in and tosses the lifeline to all their friends.

Here, the state GOP is filled 100% with the Duncan’s. They think they are the cat’s meow and they serve up whatever puppet they can.
And the worst part about it, Kemp was the “better” of the last two in the primary. Kemp is bad enough. Casey Cagle would have been an uncontrolled nightmare.
